Windows Live Maps New Version With 3D
Windows Live Maps has just released a new version with a lot of cool new features. Surprisingly, one of the big new features includes support for 3D mapping on Firefox! The full list of new features is:
- 3D mapping on Firefox
- Ratings and reviews for business listings. The reviews are fed from partner sites that already have lots of reviews.
- “Find Nearby” suggested queries on a business listing’s details page
- RSS feeds for user Collections (lists)
- Area calculations for regions marked out on the map with drawing tools
- Automatic display of traffic information when users create a route
- Drag and drop reording of items on the Scratchpad
- Once within a city map, users only need to enter an address name, without needing to re-enter city, state
- 3D mapping in Outlook and support for Outlook 2007 , Vista
