Carrefour Banned On Google China
Friday, 2nd May 2008During the Olympic torch relay in France, a wheelchair-bound Chinese participant was attacked by pro-Tibet protesters. To add insult to injury, France has granted honorary citizenship to the Dalai Lama, who is the head of the Tibetan Buddhists, who have been agitating against the Chinese Government. Friday, 5th October 2007Google leads the pack once again this month, as the most popular website in both France and the UK. ComScore’s latest report tracked the top Internet properties visited by Internet users in the UK and France during the month of August 2007. There are no surprises in the top 10 either side of the channel. Facebook, though, is rising in popularity very quickly in the UK and might become one of the top 10 visited sites very soon. (more…)
