Google is the undisputed leader according to them too, but the margin of Google’s leadership is far greater according to their numbers than the results declared by comScore last week. Google Checkout Overtakes Paypal In UK

A recent report from Hitwise found that traffic to Google Checkout has overtaken PayPal in the first two weeks of December and has held its lead since then. The number of downstream visitors from Google Checkout has also grown rapidly, which might indicate that while people visit the site they don’t necessarily buy using Google Checkout. Yahoo! UK Becoming A Distant Second

Hitwise data for September 2007 shows that Yahoo! served only 4.91 per cent of all Internet searches in the UK, Microsoft served 3.95 per cent and Ask.com got 3.55 per cent.
