I too was annoyed with that video Yesterday and thought of writing a mail to Youtube. it made me think that this guy, Rick Astley must have paid a chunk to you tube for this. well, these pranks are not good on sites like You Tube.

The clip, which was uploaded to YouTube on March 16, was spliced together by 22-year-old film student Pawl Fisher.

Fisher, a student at Eastern Washington University, admitted he pieced together the footage in the prank video from several different games. Some of the fan-reaction shots weren’t in response to the Astley impersonator, he told Washington news site KHQ Right Now. Fisher said he never meant to mislead the Times reporter.
