Joost, Fon and AdMob are definite favourites. Of particular interest for all mobile marketers are Loopt, Mobio, Soonr and AdMob.

Some of the companies featured in this article already have established user bases and are established as groundbreakers in their vertical. Othrs are still in Beta but show tremendous promise (and venture backing!)
One company that might join the ranks of startups to watch in the near future is Spotzer. Their shrink-wrapped video advertising product might have been ahead of its time when it was launched, but now that most advertisers are looking towards mobile and video as the next big platforms for marketing, their product might well be just what the market needs.
