New Interface for Google Analytics
9th May 2007
Google’s visitor tracking solution, Google Analytics, is in the process of being updated. The update will be rolled out across Google accounts in the next two months.
Urchin, the predecessor of Google Analytics looked very different from the recent version of the website visitor tracking tool. The new interface is meant to be more intuitive to use, with greater clarity in the navigation between reports.
New features introduced in this version include:
- Email reports when needed or set scheduled report creation and emailing, similar to AdWords automated reporting
- Create a custom dashboard to view all important reports in one screen
- Graph trends over time and compare values over different time periods.
